2 days Nairobi National Park and Ol Donyo Sabuk safari is a mazing safari that is short and belief in two different safari destinations. The safari will offer you a unique blend of the urban and the natural environments that will offer you unforgettable safari memories. This itinerary offers a mix of game drives, hiking, scenic views, visiting the David Sheldrick orphanage and among others. However feel free to customize it to suit your preferences and interests.
Day 1: Pick up and Nairobi National Park.
On the first day of the safari your safari guide from Focus East Africa Tours will pick you up from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi and belief you about the safari, after the beliefing you will proceed to Nairobi National Park. You will start with your morning game drive where you are going to spot various animal species like lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, spotted hyenas, blue wildebeests, plain zebras, cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, impalas, waterbucks, common warthogs, and among others you will as well get to spot some bird species like speckled pigeon, red-eyed dove, laughing dove and among many others. After the morning game drive you will go for lunch to the nearby restaurant near the park or you can opt for the picnic lunch.
After lunch you can proceed with the game drive or you can visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust this is the orphanage, world-renowned sanctuary for rescued orphaned and the injured wildlife, particularly elephants and the rhinos. After the experience you will be transferred back to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after the breakfast, your safari guide will pick you and start your journey to Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park. Once you arrive the park you will hike to the summit which is an optional activity or do a morning game drive where you will spot various animal species like leopards, olive baboons, aardvarks, porcupines, mongoose, monitor lizards, and among others.
After the morning experience you will enjoy picnic lunch in the centre of the park, after lunch you will proceed with the afternoon game drive this is where you are going to extend and reach the Sabuk River where you will have the best views of the landscape. After the game drive you will be transferred back to Nairobi to your hotel and this will make your safari come to the end.
