5 days Arusha, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari is a perfect Tanzania safari package for wildlife lovers offering you an opportunity to explore Serengeti national park – the oldest and most popular national park in Tanzania and Ngorongoro Conservation Area – a home to Ngorongoro crater – the largest intact crater in the world.
On this safari, you will participate in game viewing drives on which you will explore the both Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro crater floor spotting various species of wildlife including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants, wildebeests, giraffes and many birds including the pink flamingoes.

Detailed itinerary of 5 days Arusha, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1: Arrival and pick up
Upon landing in Arusha at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our experienced guide. He will offer you a short briefing about the safari head for a city tour for a Tanzanite Experience on which you will learn about the history, mystery and rarity of the precious gemstones which are unique to Tanzania. You will also visit the Maasai Market where you will interact with the locals and have a chance to purchase some of the beautiful and unique art pieces such as Masai Shukas, sandals, hall hangings among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Ngorongoro and explore the crater
Enjoy breakfast, checkout and transfer to Ngorongoro crater found in the Northern Tanzania, this volcano was once a gigantic volcano and is now the largest intact caldera in the world. From Arusha it is a drive of approximately 4 hours and on arrival, you will head to the lodge for check in and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will descend to the crater floor a game drive in search many animals residing in the crater floor including elephants, elands, hartebeests, rhinos, giraffes and flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater. In late evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro to Serengeti
Have early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and transfer to Serengeti national park an iconic Wildlife destination found in one of the oldest ecosystems in the world – Mara- Serengeti eco system.
Serengeti national park is a World Heritage Site teaming with wildlife including over 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, and 550 cheetahs and over 500 bird species. Upon arriving the park, you will head to your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will head to the park for a game drive exploring the endless plains and have a chance to spot a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, cape buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, rhinos, giraffes and many bird species. After the game drive, you will have a sundowner’s experience set at one of picnic sites in the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti and transfer back to Arusha
Wake up early and head to the landing site for hot air balloon ride, you will join other visitors, have a short briefing as you watch the balloons being inflated. Climb into the basket and soar into the sky, as you float in the sky you will enjoy aerial views of endless plains and several animals include lions, leopards, gazelles, cheetahs among others.
Upon landing, you will have champagne breakfast set in the wilderness of the park at a picnic site then have a short game drive as you head back to your lodge. After a short rest, you will exit the park and set off on a journey back to Arusha. On arrival you will check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Arusha (Departure)
After a leisurely breakfast, depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination marking the end of the safari.
