DETAILED ITINERARY OF 8 DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up by your safari driver guide and transfer to your booked hotel in Arusha City. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can have an optional Arusha City Tour for a coffee tour and Museum Tour.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Tarangire national park
After breakfast, you will have an early transfer to Tarangire National Park with your packed lunch which is a drive of 2 hours. When you arrive in the park, you will have a full day game drive exploring the park in search of animals such as herds of Elephants, zebras, hartebeests, waterbucks, gazelles and oryx among others.
Have your picnic lunch and continue exploring the park, later head to your already booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro crater experience
Have breakfast and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch for a full day game drive in the Crater, you will descend 600 meters into the crater and enjoy seeing wildlife species such as cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, gazelles, cheetahs among others.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake situated in the South-Western corner of the crater floor. At the lake you will see a large number of flamingoes and many birds and hippos along the shore. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park – Southern Serengeti
After breakfast, you will checkout and drive to Serengeti National Park with your packed lunch on a drive of about 4 hours through Ngorongoro Conservation Area with stopover and visit to the Olduvai Gorge.
Proceed to South Serengeti with en-route game drive, head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full day Southern Serengeti game drive – transfer to central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will go for a full day game drive in the South region of Serengeti National Park for chances of viewing the wildebeest migration with your packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will connect to Central Serengeti with en-route game viewing. Check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full day in Central Serengeti national park
Have early breakfast at your lodge, head to the park for a full day game viewing as you explore Serengeti national park. On the morning game drive, you will explore the wilderness of Serengeti and see a variety of wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, Impalas, African wild dogs, serval cats, elephants and many more.
You will enjoy lunch at a picnic site and continue exploring the park on a game drive around the Kopjes like the Simba Kopjes and enjoy sights of lions on top of the rocks as they watch their prey in the savannah plains. After watching the sunset, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park
Have early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and head for a game drive. Lake Manyara is the iconic attraction in park located on the shores of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa, on the game drive you will spot many animals including the tree climbing lions, giraffes, zebras, baboons among others.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Return to Arusha/Departure
After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive of 3 hours to Arusha. On arrival you will be dropped off either at your lodge or the airport for your flight back home.
