Nairobi national park Entrance Fee 2022 : Nairobi national park is a one of a kind Kenya safari destination and national park located in Nairobi city, this park is the only national park in the world found in the perimeters of a capital city. Nairobi national park covers an area of an area of 117 square kilometers making it to be one of the smallest parks in Kenya, regardless of its size the park is a home to an abundance of wildlife. Nairobi national park is often referred to as Kifaru Ark for its successful role in rhino conservation, there are approximately 50 rhinos in the park which is the densest concentration of black rhinos in Africa.

Apart from rhinos, the park is a home to four of the Big Five. Other animals found in Nairobi national park include cheetah, leopards, lions, gazelles, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, ostriches and buffaloes.

Like most of other protected areas in Kenya, Nairobi national park is under the administration of Kenya Wildlife Authority which is responsible for drafting conservation and Kenya park fees while on Kenya Safaris .

Categories/status of tourists

Tourists on a Kenya safari Nairobi national park are categories as students, children, citizens, residents and Non-residents (foreigners). When drafting the Nairobi national park fees, these categorized where used and they are as follows

Students

The category of citizens includes individuals below the age of 23 years visiting the park on a safari organized by a recognized education institution (primary, secondary, government or Private College or university) for conservation or research purposes.

 Visitors to be eligible for student fees, the education institution is required to inform Kenya Wildlife Services in a minimum of 2 weeks, this is to enable Kenya Wildlife Services to issue a written authorization for student rates.

Note: students visiting Nairobi national park on a privately organized safari are not eligible for student fees, instead they pay citizen or resident fees.

Children

Children are visitors from the age of 3 years but below the age of 18 years.

Citizens

Visitors of Nairobi national park categorized as citizens are visitors who have citizenships in Kenya and East Africa Community member countries including Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan with passports and National IDs.

Residents

Visitors of Nairobi national park categorized as Residents are foreigners who are not citizens of Kenya or any East African Community members living and working in Kenya.

Note: Residents are supposed to be in possession of valid residence documentation or work permits issued by the Kenya Government.
