3 days Nairobi National Park and Tsavo West safari
A 3 days Nairobi National Park and Tsavo West safari is a short wildlife adventure that takes you to two Kenya’s stunning national parks that is to spot the parks wonderful wildlife including the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, elephant orphanage and among many others.
Day 1: Nairobi National Park.
On the first day of the safari, you will be picked by your safari guide from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning and be briefed about the three days safari, after the briefing you will begin your safari with a visit to Nairobi National Park, to spot the park’s incredible animal species like lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and among others and viewing the colorful and beautiful bird species. After the morning game drive you will go for a lunch break in the nearby restaurant.
After lunch you will later you will experience the elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park that is referred to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust a renowned rescue and rehabilitation center for the orphaned and injured elephants, you will take a guided tour of the orphanage, learn about the conservation efforts. You will interact with the elephants and get close to them, supporting conservation, you will witness the feeding of the orphaned elephants and learning about their individual stories.
After the experience you will go to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your hotel and transfer to Tsavo West National Park. Once upon you arrive you will check-in your lodge and be served be lunch. After lunch you go for the afternoon game drive, this is where you are going to explore the park’s unique wildlife and landscape during the afternoon game drive. You will spot various animal species like lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and various animal species.
You can as well opt to visit Ngulia Rhino sanctuary this is a protected area specifically designed to safeguard the endangered black rhinoceros, with the scenic views and the surrounding landscape. After you will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning game drive and departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and take a delicious breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide for the early morning game drive to spot the park’s incredible animal species. You will visit Mzima springs and underwater hippo viewing.
After the game drive you will begin your journey to Nairobi. The journey takes 4 to 5 hours and along the way you will enjoy the enroute lunch, and after lunch you will back your journey to Nairobi and later be dropped to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or to your hotel in Nairobi.
