Detailed itinerary of 4 days Amboseli and Masai Mara Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi City or upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be picked up by your guide – a representative of Focus East Africa Tour and transfer to Amboseli National Park on a drive through the Kenyan country side.
Arrive in time for lunch, check in at your lodge to enjoy your meals, later in the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the expansive Amboseli plains which are home to large herds of elephants which you will spot resting under large acacia trees. In addition to elephants, you will spot other wildlife species such as leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions among others. After watching a magnificent sunset behind the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest free-standing mountain in Africa, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli – Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will checkout and with en-route game drive you will head to Masai Mara Game Reserve, along the way you will have lunch in Nairobi and proceed to Masai Mara with a stopover at he Rift Valley view point for scenic views of the rift valley escarpments.
When you arrive in the reserve, you will have a short game drive as you head to the lodge. Some of the animals to lookout for include elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeests, hyenas and many birds such as African birds of prey.
Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you will head to the plains of Masai Mara for a full day game drive giving you an opportunity to explore the endless plains and spot a variety of wildlife. The reserve has an extensive track network which allows you to come close wildlife and get close-up view of them. You will have lunch at a picnic site set at the hippo pool looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Have early morning game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Checkout of your lodge and set off on a journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your international flight back home.
End of 4 days Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara safari.
