Buhoma trek with gorilla families like Katwe, Mubare, Rushegura and others. Nkuringo trek with gorilla families like Nkuringo, Bushaho, Christmas and among others. Rushaga trek with gorilla families like Mucunguzi, Bikingi, Mishaya, Bikingi, Rwigi, Bweza and among others.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park starts with a briefing at the park headquarters early in the morning. During the briefing that’s when they give you guidelines about the rules and regulations to follow while carrying out gorilla trekking.

After the briefing you can be divided in to the groups of eight and each group can be given by the park guide who takes you in the deep rain forests to look for the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking activity take about 30 minutes to 8 hours according to the location of the mountain gorillas. Along the way while looking for the mountain gorillas you can be rewarded with sighting diverse wildlife along the way.

Gorilla trekking in Maghinga forest national park starts with in the morning with a briefing at Ntebeko park headquarters about the expectations, regulations, rules to follow while trekking.

After the briefing you can be grouped into 8 people and start trekking in the jungle with a park guide who will be sharing information and answering questions about the mountain gorillas.

Trekking the gorillas in Mgahinga gorilla national park takes about 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas as they keep moving in deep forests from one place to another while looking for food. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be given one hour to be in their natural habitat and in that hour that’s when you learn about their habits, behaviors, lifestyle, taking photos with less flash cameras while recording the moments.
