Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo International Airport, you will meet our safari driver-guide waiting for you and then transfer you to your hotel for a complimentary night.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara NR

After a morning breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and driven toward Maasai Mara. You will drive through the Great Rift Valley and stop at Lake Naivasha for a short animal viewing and birding. Proceed to Maasai Mara. Arriving in the evening with an optional night game drive to watch nocturnal predators.

Day 3: Full Day Game drive

Enjoy a morning breakfast at the lodge, then head out on the full-day game drive in Maasai Mara to search for the big five, hippos and Nile crocodiles. You will have lunch in the jungle under a croton tree while taking in the landscape. There is a high chance to see the great migration with wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River, with cheetahs, lions and hyenas following. Return to the lodge for dinner and night. Optional: visiting the local Maasai village or a hot air balloon safari.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru NP

 After a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Masai Mara, you will set off to Lake Nakuru National Park for the day. The lake harbors lots of notable bird species, and you’re likely to see Kingfishers, herons, eagles and flamingos, among others. Beyond the birds, there is a great chance of watching leopards, lions, and rare black and white rhinos. Call it a day. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Leave Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

Your long day starts with a yummy breakfast at 6am, and then you will go for wildlife and bird watching at Lake Nakuru National Park. Around midday, enjoy lunch on your way before transferring to Amboseli National Park. Arrive late in the evening, and there’s a good chance to witness the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro at sunset before settling into your booked lodge. Have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

After a relaxed breakfast around 7am, you will spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with your packed lunch. Searching for lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos and various bird species throughout the park. By evening, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Amboseli NP / Departure

Enjoy an early breakfast at around 6am, followed by a morning game drive in an open savannah to catch final wildlife views. Thereafter, you will transfer back to Nairobi. Arriving in the afternoon to be dropped at your hotel in the Nairobi city or at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight. End of the safari.
