Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo national park is located in western Uganda in the district of Kiruhura, covering a total area of about 260 square kilometers. Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest savannah national park. It was gazetted in 1983. The park is spectacular, offering quite a number of Uganda safari activities to travelers. Lake Mburo National Park is visited all year round, but the best time to visit the park is during the dry months of June, July and august this is because during this time, the roads are passable to be able to get close to wildlife.
How to get there
By road
Lake mburo national park can be accessed by road from Kampala and branch from Sanga which will take you to the main gate which is the Sanga gate and it about 3 to hours to get into the park
By air
Fly from Entebbe international airport with aero link or fly and it will put in Mbarara at the airstrip in nyakisharara where the hotel car or company car will pick from and take you to the game park
